The production and use of biochar are recognized as the fastest and most promising methods of removing CO2 from the environment. The right use of biochar seems to have endless applications, from soil conditioner and animal care, to industrial processes and products, and electricity storage.

We develop projects and turn dilemmas into opportunities by establishing Build, Own and Operate models and circular business agreements. Project Manager/Lead Engineers – Environmental technology projects.

The demand is increasing for our organic waste treatment and carbon negative renewable energy solutions. We are in the project phase to build, own and operate several CarbonWorks pyrolysis factories in Norway. To expand our Engineering Team, we are looking for a Project Manager and Lead Engineers for our team in Norway/Europe.

Experience from management and performance of engineering projects and/or delivery of industrial process plants will be required.

Experience from the environmental technology/waste management sector would be preferred.

Join our highly skilled team in leading the decarbonization of major industries and provide the agriculture with all the benefits of biochar.

We consider the following key qualifications:

– MSc. or equivalent in Environmental engineering, Mechanical engineering, Renewable energy, Thermal Engineering, or Process engineering.

– Experience from waste/biomass/sludge-treatment, or the biogas sector, processes such as pyrolysis, combustion, drying, dewatering and anaerobic digestion.

– Experience in project implementation and management

– Experience in 3D drawing software, such as Inventor and Solidworks.

– Process automation and electro experience is an advantage.

– Good written and spoken language abilities in both English and Norwegian.

We value team work as well as independence and self-motivation.

Our office and test facilities are located at Skoppum, near Horten, in Vestfold and Telemark.

Our business activities are primarily in Europe.
