WAI bioanode products are designed and engineered for energy storage applications, primarily in the field of Na-ion battery. The world needs alternative battery technologies to lithium-ion battery and reduce our dependency on lithium. Na-ion battery is an alternative that can potentially play an important role in stationary energy storage facilities and in electrical vehicles. From forest residues, WAI produces advanced carbon materials that can be used for hard carbon production. WAI aims to enhance global Na-ion battery industry supply chain by supplying large quantity of hard carbon precursors in the coming years.

Injection Biocarbon (IBC)

IBC is designed for injecting into a furnace through injection pipes after pulverization.

Charge Biocarbon (CBC)

With superior compression strength and thermal strength, CBC is designed to be top charged into a furnace. Fixed carbon and volatile contents of CBC can be customized according to end-users’ requests.

Premium Biocarbon (PBC)

PBC is exclusively designed for high-required metallurgical industry. It has a good balance of fixed carbon and volatile contents and maintains high compression strength under high temperatures.
